Qaieo Frontier
About
What is Qaieo
Qaieo covers awards, milestones and contracts shaping the physical economy.
Qaieo Frontier puts early-stage and scaling companies at the center: who won the work, what they are building, and what has to happen next. Articles link to public sources and examine buyers, funding terms, delivery milestones and commercial progress. Established companies appear when their work defines an industry or changes the path for emerging companies.
Industries we follow
Our core industries are robotics, photonics, and aerospace & defense, including space. Supporting coverage follows energy and industry & infrastructure. Emerging frontiers brings together other physical technologies moving toward commercial use.
Each industry has a dedicated section that updates as articles are published. The reporting lens stays on awards, milestones and contracts, including grants and prizes.
What we look for
- Awards and contracts. The recipient, buyer, scope and delivery terms. A contract's maximum value is distinct from funds obligated or paid.
- Commercial milestones. Product launches, deployments, manufacturing scale and delivery progress, with clear evidence and dates.
- Grants and prizes. What the funding supports, its conditions and the steps toward commercial use. An announced award does not establish that all funds have been received or milestones met.
How the complete product fits together
- Toekyn generates Verified Work™ data from physical operations, linking Verified Work™ outcomes to source evidence, review, corrections and permissions.
- Qaieo owns simulation, reinforcement learning, evaluations and machine learning, combining verified-work and simulation data to build research datasets and models. Qaieo Frontier is the publication arm, reporting on the companies building the physical economy.
- Yeki brings those inputs and research outputs together with external API data for underwriting and purchase-order and milestone financing workflows.
The four planned government sources are SAM.gov Opportunities, SAM.gov Contract Awards, USAspending and SAM.gov Entity Management. The integrated data path is in development. Current demonstrations use synthetic data and financing remains in shadow mode; this description does not activate real-data collection, training or financial decisions.

The research archive
Qaieo began with photonic quantum computing. Earlier quantum research, news and Perceval release notes remain available in the homepage's research archive and the release timeline.
Who runs this
Omid Izadjou. I work in fintech and follow the companies, contracts and technology behind the physical economy.
What it isn't
Qaieo Frontier is a publication from Yeki and reports from public sources. Coverage is not an endorsement, a financing offer or investment advice. Business relationships and the policy for handling conflicts are described on the Disclosures page.
